Board Members

Samuel Wang attends Beckman High School. Communicating with local schools and mom-and-pop shops established our mission: we aim to level the playing field through the use of free, one-on-one tutoring and business education.

John Tao attends Northwood High School. To John, Symponia seemed like an excellent chance to help those who might need assistance in academics. For most of his career as a student, he had access to materials and people around him to help, and realized that many don’t have those opportunities.

Katie Han attends the University of Washington. To understand her classes better, she often sought help from others. She hated when she fell behind in class, and realized many students felt the same way, but couldn't find help. Symponia was an opportunity to help those students.
